Has anyone had an issue with the starter clicking when you try to start it? Mine will just click sometimes and then start right up.It has done it ever since i have had it. I have checked all the connections and the starter bolts are tight so i know its getting a good ground and voltage.I'm pretty sure i need a replacement since it is under warranty

Check the connections in the battery box too?
I dont know the specifics, but the previous owner had the starter replaced in my 2010.

Sounds like a bad solonoid. If so, it will eventually quit working.

Agreed on the eventually not working at all part, but my bet on the broken component was the opposite. The solenoid part is working and making the clicking when engaging the bendix. The starter motor is not spinning and what my money is on.

just had the same issue fixed by my dealer. starter started intermittently clicking late last season, took it in at end of season, they said it was loose wire. tried firing it up to start this season, and click, click, click?
double checked all connections, and they were good. took the boat back to the dealer and told them to check the starter this time! sure enough, they confirmed solenoid was bad. so they replaced the entire starter. now she fires right up, every time!
it is the starter, have them replace it! sounds like an issue with many boats?

Good to hear... I wish I would have figured it out sooner, as it would have saved me 6 hours driving time (X 2 trips) to get to the dealer the first time!
