Just curious if anyone has figured out how much weight the front sac actually holds when under the floor in the front. I was guessing about 700 lbs. does anyone know for sure?

I would estimate ~450lb (about 1/2)

I'm curious about this too. I heard it holds 900# total but when under the floor it fills to about 650#
That 450# comment above is the lowest guess I've heard. Solid confirmation would be solid.

I have sacs that max at about 450 and I am POSITIVE the bow pnp sac is filling far more than that. Without measuring, my best guess would be in the 750-800 range.

Right from the VP's mouth, it's 475 under the seat, the 900 or whatever people claim is if it's on top of the seat fully expanded, watch this video at 2:30

If you pay attention when filling the front bag and tank the bag vents shortly before the tank does

i would love it if someone who has access to a truck scale to go weight their boat with the bow pnp full (under the seats) then empty so we can see actual data. Or if someone has a 55 gallon drum and wants to fill the bow sack while under the seats, then empty it into the 55 gallon drum and see how many drums the front sack holds. if axis website is correct, the front pnp while under the seats should only fill the drum once and then slightly overflow (55g x 8.33 lbs = 458 lbs). So once its full, dump the whole drum and continue draining the sack to get a good idea of how many gallons it holds.

I am sure there are a bunch of different ways to do this, I don't care enough to spend the time and energy, but if someone is bored, it would be interesting

Would you actually fill the sac(s) while its on the trailer? I would never on my lift. Maybe the bunk trailer, but probably not.

I would on the trailer no problem. but not on your lift when the boat is out of water. Just lower the boat just before floating and fill the front sack, then pump the sack out into something and measure it. I think you would have to use 5 gallon buckets or something small and that would take forever, but doable

Pumps are 800gph, right? Yeah, I know there is variability, but put a stopwatch on it, and figure 111.33 pounds per minute. Takes more than 4.5 minutes to fill doesn't it?

I wonder if having 9 people in the boat may have prevented the bow sac from filling as much as it would without people sitting on top of the cushions, too.

Pumps are only 800gph only in ideal conditions - zero raise, zero plumbing resistance, and peak voltage. Lifting the water above the surface, tubing length, and any voltage drop will slow it down substanually.

Having people in the boat would have no effect unless they are sitting on the chillax cushions and you are overfilling the bow bag.
