Ordered Mine - Sold out for year?

I got my order for an Axis A22 Salt Edition in. My dealer said he thinks Malibu and Axis are sold out for the year. I'm grateful if true!

I know our local dealer has sold all their malibu/Axis boats but 3. I think 2011 is going to be a great season for Malibu/Axis.

I think some of the dealers have a few open spots left. I know my local dealer had 1 or 2 spots left to spray so he has not decided on the final colors of the last 2 boats. Compared to the number of Malibu boats he is allowed to order it does not suprise me that Axis boats are selling out. Some dealers are only able to get a couple boats per year.

Ordered mine Wednesday, got the spray date (official "start" date) yesterday. Assuming my dealer wasn't having fun with me (April Fool's), it is going to be pretty late - June 2nd. So looks like 10-12 week lead time (initial estimate was 6-8). I'd say that's a sign they are pretty darn busy, which may substantiate the "sold out for year" claim that was made. I'm sure there is some variability from dealer to dealer, though, as more established and/or dedicated dealers probably get more boats per year than smaller ones.

Dang,my dealer hasn't given me any timelines. I put in on March 1st.
I gotta get on them to get some idea of dates...

our local axis dealer has sold out of his boats for the season. He is trying to get one more boat.

pretty good sign for Axis having boats sell out this early in the season.

I ordered mine early march and just got word that it will be here this tuesday... so about 9 weeks... I am so stoked!!

Ya'll keep ordering them.

Just learned that a buddy is buying a new a22 and mine is an 09 that I got at dealer cost at the end of 09 (Atlanta inboard was going out of business)and I got it at dealer cost. Turns out his 2011 is 7k more then what I got mine for, and I also got the snazzy trailer package w/ the stage II sound package and he did not . Which means no depreciation on value, or very very little.

I love all the new options that are out now, and wish I had them. I have yet to see an axis on my lake yet. It's kind of nice.

Should be finalizing the deal on an a-22 this week off the dealer lot...one of 2 left. Can't wait!

Yes it is very nice to see AXIS selling out and when i goto the lake/river i do not see a axis on it. very good feeling i have a great wakeboard boat that is rare to see on the river. my dealer has 1 slot left when i bought mine.
