I'm going to push really really hard to get some version of surfgate built for an Axis. It's such a great idea. Even if we could get a manual version in a few years, how sick would that be?

chat. I think a manual option would be awesome. have one gate with drop in pins that you can just slide into position. when you want to switch sides, you would have to manually pull the gate and put it on the other side. It would take less than a minute and you could not switch sides on the fly, but it would be really cheap. One gate would be shared for both sides, you would not need a modified swim step like the malibu, and no hydraulics or electrical to worry about. genius.

I think you are going to see a surfgate option in 2014 for Axis.
