a couple of annoying probs? 2011 A22

Anyone have the foam on the swim deck start to come off?

Also on the door under the glove box where the sub and amps are the vinyl keeps getting ripped because if you open the door a little too much it binds with the plastic on the dash board. Anyone have this problem and find a fix for it?

Mine was having the same prob & the dealer warrantied it with the same pad that is eventually going to do the same thing. As for the door mine had a pin hole in it from the same problem when i bought the boat new. Axis warrantied that as well & I have fixed the problem with some of my own engineering. I attached a strap with a buckle to tighten & loosen it need be. This way it wont swing all the way open rub the edges. It also has a clip to unbuckle it.

Took mine to the dealer and they ordered a new pad. The "soft" pad in 2011 was a problem, and they have a "hard" pad with which to replace it. Still waiting on it to come in, though.

Is yours a 2011 or older boat? I thought the new hard pad was only outfitted for the 2012 models?

I don't have any problem with my 2011 observer door... but I also almost always have my chillax seats up so it stops the obs door from opening all the way. I will have to play with it to see what you guys are talking about. thanks

Mine is a 2011, but I was under the impression that the warranty replacement will be a hard mat. I think that the 2009's and 2010's had a different mat, as well.

I got a 2011 demo boat and the pad was lifting when i took it out for the demo. They replaced it before i purchased it but im not very excited about replacing it again.

I would be very surprised if it is a hard mat. If so they have re-tooled the 2012 hard mat that only fits the new swim platform, to fit the older platform. Let us know when you get it in & snap a pic. FYI mine did the same thing & warranty replaced it with the same mat.
