Looking at the comparison. 20 seconds is a long time to plane off. My gets to wake speed in about 7 seconds with 3000+ and wedge. Wake is super clean too. I really just wanted to make sure that I didn't make the wrong purchase.

You're right on track, I don't like the excessive plane times either, I'm at 2200 ft elevation and with everything full and wedge mine gets to 24mph in about 10-11 seconds.

I think there won't be any comparison between the high altitude and the 5 blade.

What do you mean by this?

Saying that the high altitude doesn't have anywhere near the amount of low end as the 5 blade or a wide diameter 4 blade such as the 2315.

Actually the 5 blade has slightly less holeshot than the Acme 1235. The 5 blade struggles slightly more with the same ballast setups.

Wow. That confirms that I made the right choice. My 2315 15x12 prop. Will plane in about 7 sec. And run about 3600 rpm with all the plug n play extra. Wedge down. 250lb of led in front and 13 people in the boat with a full tank of gas. No struggling whatsoever. I give props to Jim at Acme because he has shot me straight and the prop has delivered.

we worked with bill at acme on the 2315 for our MXZ loaded down for surf. I am sticking with that prop for my MXZ. We went thru the regular malibu issue prop, 1235 and then the 2315. I did not even know a wakeboard boat would do over 25mph.. :) so I do not miss the top speed..

Acme makes a great prop and I have never owned anything other than a Acme. I have worked with Bill and Jim at Acme for years and those guys know props!

The 2315 sounds awesome, wonder about fuel consumption.

mwilliams. Sounds like you got a great prop there. I would love to get one and do a side by side with it. I may have to call acme at the end of the season...

What motor do you have and what pnp bags are you running in the rears?

AJ... it burns some gas if you are driving fast.. I really never paid attention to the gas consumption but I have heard that you will burn more at higher speeds not sure about at lower.
