I haven't really got down with a full wax job yet, after I get home I always wash the boat with soap and water and spray it down with either hot sauce

http://www.seaspotgo.com/ then I rinse it and dry it with wax as you dry
http://eagleone.com/wax-as-u-dry after that I usually use the quickie sauce or some kind of spray nanowax
http://eagleone.com/superior-nanowax-spray I only wash it with microfiber towels and dry it with a bunch of waffle towels

Sometimes if its spotted real bad i'll hose it down and spray it with sea spot go or hot sauce then soap it up with a microfiber and then rinse and dry with the spray wax, and I always do only one side at a time to prevent one side from drying and spotting again, this west texas heat evaporates water faster than you can spray it
