I personally won't get one but don't blame others for trying to be safe. Myself I've never had headaches, light headedness, etc due to surfing. My lady friend literally surfs for miles at a time without falling and she's never complained either. My previous boat (2008 Moomba XLV) had noticeably more exhaust smell. On a side note, I personally like the sound of the motor.

Yeah. Definitely a personal preference. I prefer hearing the speakers more clearly over the engine noise.

I don't at all doubt the claims of less exhaust smell behind the axis. But just don't assume no smell means no CO. CO is actually odorless. What you are smelling is othe exhaust gasses. I have no idea how much is actually there, just saying be careful because not smelling anything doesn't mean much.

Agreed. I have been meaning to tie one of these to the back of the boat while surfing:

Ferral, I definitely agree. That's why I wanted the FAE on mine. Knowing my kids will be surfing behind it, I wanted to lessen their CO exposure as much as possible. The tests the FAE company have performed showing the drastically reduced CO levels at the rear of the boat are quite impressive.

Do you always have to drive with the wedge down with that?

No, not all. The wedge is usually up unless we're wakeboarding. We surf with it up and down depending on the weight in the boat at the time.

Larry is a local Austin guy.. I have seen him measure boats at our dealership all the time. He is always tweaking and making sure he has all the correct measurements to all the new boats when they hit the dealership.

Im not knocking this product by anymeans but i think they should change the statment to relocates co2 because its not really reducing the amount its just moving it to a different location
