I noticed this weekend that my depth alarm (it is set @ 5ft) was going off constantly when moving @ high speeds (35+). I don't think that many fish were moving under the boat!haha! At wakeboarding speed and idle speed it acts fine, but when throttled up it would read depths right and then alarm @ 4ft then read right again then alarm. I don't want to cut the alarm off but I may have to. Has anyone else noticed this?

Never had that problem. My alarm is set at 3'. It only goes off when I pull into my lift.

Don't know about the alarm part because I don't use it (I use a deep lake) but when I rarely run above 35mph my depth gauge will occassionally show random numbers or display the word "deep".

I talked to the dealer service manager and he said that it was normal for the Axis hull at high speeds. He actually said that air was causing the malfunction...IDK. The lake was rough and that was the first time I have really ran that fast for a long period of time...usually just find a smooth cove to board or sit in!

Mines acting up now but it's a little different when sitting still it will randomly jump to 1ft and sound the alarm and then jump back to normal readings but all day it did that but only at idle. Any ideas I'm gonna clean the sensor and hope that it has something on it

I only set my alarm if we go somewhere different, mine also will say DEEP from time to time.
