Any issues of driving down the highway with the seat cushions in the boat? Anyone had one fly out at all?

I cant speak for the 2011 with four bow cushions but I tow my 2010 with the front chillax seat up, holding the two front cushions in place then I lay down the tower across the rear with two throw cushions using that to hold the side cushions and rear corners in place, I slide the skybox seat forward two feet to clear the tower speakers, and use that and the tower uprights to hold down the carpet, everything fits perfect and I've never had an issue going 70-75, and every lake I go to is at least two hours away or more. The main reason I fold the tower is because it doesn't fit in my shop door with it up and I hate cleaning off bug guts on the speakers before I ever get in the water.

At highway speeds I have my forward facing chillax seat up to block the wind from getting in the cabin.

I have towed thousands of miles and haven't had one fly out. The only issue I have had towing is something I had stored on the floor next to the driver seat, chipped the gel coat. off topic... but make sure nothing is rubbing against the interior gel coat when you are towing.

Exactly!!! Had a buddy of mine put two wakeboards on the floor of his cabin of his wakeboat from our storage facility to the ramp (1.5-2 miles at 45mph) and just that short distance the nose of the boards made contact with the interior gelcoat seat bases and scratched the hell out of them.

I always trailer with the cover on.

Thanks for the info guys, still not sure if I should chance it, my old boat (Bayliner) only had two cushions so there weren't as many to worry about moving every time.

The seat cushion in the Malibu boats in the rear will sometimes fly out but the Axis rear seat with the heavy base is never a problem. I have never hear of seat cushion problems on the Axis boats.

Thanks guys, had a bad expereince with my 2008 Bayliner, lost two seats so I just thought I would check. Seems like the bow cushions might be the lightest and the ones to worry about.

Like AJ stated...I always put the forward chillax up and window closed. With the chillax up the center cushion up front pretty much locks into place and with the center cushion in the other 3 are not going anywhere.
