Just wanted to say that ever since I started reading this forum I thought that you guys were exaggerating about how nice the wake behind the A22 was. Well I just went for my first ride today and it was AMAZING!!! Tall and rampy... just the way I like it. Proud to own an Axis :D

Which one? The wakeboard or surf? Either-way, you can not got wrong. I really like that is scales. My 4yo, just started and likes it too.

I really need that new swim-deck to dial in the surf wake:

Didn't try surfing yet but the wakeboard wake is the sexiest thing I have ever seen.

It gets better if you put extra weight in the front

+1 to this... as you add weight, don't forget to add to the bow. The A22 is just like the malibu VLX in that it LOVES bow weight.

Post up some pics of your wake kohlieo!! And welcome to the "best wake under $100k" club :D

Indeed it does love bow weight. But, that also means it's easy to swamp your boat :( With the 750lb bag + 2 or 3 medium sized people in the bow, I drop really close to the waterline when slowing down after a rider falls.

I've seen vids where people use a 900-1000lb triangle sac. That's a bit much for my liking but I just use an extra 400 in the bow and it firms up the wake and adds just a tiny bit more meat to it. I haven't tried throwing my other 400 up front which would be 800 total but maybe I will for giggles. I never ride with more than 4 people total, usually just 2-3.
