I have a 2014 A24 with the older Sony stereo head unit. I am looking at Bluetooth adapters to improve the weak BT quality I am getting. Has anyone added adapters and what are you finding that works?

I am looking at the Fusion BT adapter (Fusion MS-BT100 Bluetooth Dongle for Fusion Marine Stereo Head Units) on Amazon for $42. If anyone has installed this BT adapter, let me know

Thanks

I first installed the Exile EXBT4. This is the BT dongle that plugs into the Aux. It worked great from a signal standpoint, but did not give me the ability to change songs with the headunit. I had to pick up my phone and make the changes there. I didn't like that. I also never use the CD player and could get as good or better radio using cell data. So I swapped out the entire head unit and the BT dongle for the Exile digital media center. I also installed the dual zone volume control. Now my music is only via the phone and is controlled at the small unit with built in BT. In the space that the sony head unit took up I put the Exile device, the dual zone volume control and a PTM cell phone holder.

Why not add a WS 420 BT EQ snd run the head unit for radio or secondary source for other riders through USB, no you have tower, inboats, snd sub individual control

I installed the Fusion in 2014 on our A20 and it works fine. Like the above reader stated
you do have to control it through the phone that is parred.
Super easy install also.
Good Luck what ever you decide
