I'm looking at trading in my 2012 A22 for something newer, bigger, and with surfgate. I've spent a fair amount of time in a 17 T23, but my budget is around 60k so that's too new. I'm thinking 2015-2016 T23 or 2014-2016 A24. I was at the dealer and they said the older version(pre 18) of the A24 didn't surf well. I know they're trying to sell me the boats they have in stock, so I wanted to check with all of you. What's your experience with the original model A24 and how does it compare to the T23? I will take any and all opinions.

Thanks.

No input on the t series but i love my 14 a24, unfortunately i dont think i have any pics on my phone if i find some they are all regular side that i will post. Not sure if you are regular, goofy or going to use each? goofy wave is really really good but only my wife rides goofy and i know i have no pics of goofy side.

Crappy picture but this was only me and my wife, rear hard tanks removed with 1100lb sacs center and flyhigh bow bag. I plan to get some lead this winter, with 10 people in the boat the wave is amazing but no pics of it like that unfortunately Image

Thanks for the picks. The wave looks much wider and longer than my current boat. What size motor do you have and if it's the 5.7, do you feel it has enough power?

I have a 15 T23, 350 engine with 1100s in each rear locker and a 500 in the bow with all factory tanks full and it is a monster. I just installed a OJ950 wake pro prop and it gets to surf speed great not bad wakeboarding with full either. Sorry no photos my phone deleted 750 photos on its own after an update.

Thanks for the replies. The guy at the dealer made it sound like the 24 was not good for surfing, but I think you guys have convinced me otherwise.
