T23 ballast setup

Both are really good my mechanic was puzzled whey i picked the 2313 but ACME specified it for the amount of weight im running .

The fill line in the rear comes out under a panel then has to come on top of the bag. Has anyone moved the fill line in the rear by removing part of the panel? Sorry I don't have any pictures.

The fill line should hook to the bottom of the bag, there is a fill line at each end.

I thought the two coming out on the bottom drain into the hard tank.

The one that attaches to the top has a knob on the line to turn it off and stop the flow. Its been 3 years since I hooked it up so I could be mistaken.

They did away with that "fill" valve/line in 16. I closed that valve, plugged it off and tucked it away on my buddy's 15 T23 and another buddy's 13 A22. That fill line comes off the hard tank fill pump via Y fitting and barely trickled in from the top so it doesn't really help fill the bag any faster. When the hard tank fills up it starts to fill the bag at both ends and then drains back into the hard tank as you dump the ballast. I added in overflow/vent lines off the connections that the "fill" line used to be hooked to.

So we are just getting into a 2016 T23. The guy we are buying it from says it has rear PNP installed but no PNP in the bow. I emailed wakemakers to ask about what they had. They said they suggest putting a 400lb PNP bow bag in there. I see a lot of guys using 650's and 750's and some even more. Why would they suggest only 400lbs? Is that all that they have? Whats going on? I have read tons of threads saying the more bow weight the better, I want more bow weight!

The A20,T22 and T23 all share the same triangle P&P wakemakers triangle bag which is 400lbs. I run it in my 2016 A20 and spread around another 350lbs of wake ballast lead bags on top of the bow cushions. Wakemakers went to Malibu and did a laser measurement of all the boats rear lockers and under bow cushion areas where the front P&P bag goes and designed an exact fit triangle bag. When fully bulged I'm sure it holds a bit more but you gotta remember space is space and it doesn't matter if you run a flyhigh 1000lb triangle under there it's only gonna hold between 4 and 500 lbs. So the only way to get more weight in the bow is lead or fill another sac on top of the cushions.

Yeah I'm definitely interested in putting some lead behind the cushions up in the nose. Anybody seen any how to's on how to pull the back cushions off the bow seats?

Do you all list your boat to improve the wave on the port side? I just can't seem to get a great wave on the port side.
