1 - So it's not going to fit in the garage - going to see about friends storage - for those of you paying for storage what's the typical cost?
2 - Tow Vehicle - got an explorer w/ the 3.5 EcoBoost 350+ hp/tq - but I think it's rated for jsut over 5k lbs
CRAP - probably going to need a new tow vehicle too - any advice - I want something as small as possible w/ good get up and go (engine) and would rather not break the bank..

PS - Was at the boat show today & looked at my short list down to 2 boats now...
The T22 - My wife's favorite
or the Moomba Mondo - $15k cheaper, fits in the garage, and doesn't need a new car.......
VERY Tough Decision here.
I ski first wakeboard second and don't care much about surfing at all

Your situation is very similar to mine with the exception of fitting into the garage and my desire for a very good surf wake. I originally looked hard at the Moomba Mondo and I had a Ford Explorer. After doing a LOT of research and looking, I chose the T-22 without question mainly due to the much better surf wake. I traded in my explorer for a F-150 that pulls 7600 pounds (ecoboost 2.7) and gets better gas mileage than my explorer did. I did pay more for the T-22, but equally equipped to a Mondo it would have been closer to 10k more. It's a tough call since surf wake is low on your priority - you sure a T-22 can't fit in your garage? The swim platform is removable, don't forget that!

How tight is the garage? Guide posts can be made to be removable. And measure the height. Don’t trust the web site. My A22 is close to 2” shorter than it says.

Garage is 22'4" - don't think I can pull it off, working on getting space in a friends "barn" for winter storage as that would kick that out as yet another cost.... Think I'm settling on the T22 though - just really like the interior comfort (we lounge a lot on our boat) and the extra space that the 22' boat provides.
*It's the length not the width that gets me.

Waiting to see what trade in on my explorer is probably going to get a V8 Grand Cherokee this week as I can get a new one of those for less than I'm paying on my explorer as long as I don't take too big a bath on ditching the Ford... don't really want a truck unless it' s a raptor and those are a fricking rip off right now.

Our tow vehicle is a Durango RT. Very impressed with the power and braking. Yet it feels smaller when driving. I think it’s rated around 7,500 for towing. Looked at a Tahoe, but was too big for our garage and felt like a truck.

Got quoted $500 to $550(gravel or concrete) for storage 3 miles from the boat ramp.

22'4" may fit if you put it in at an angle. My garage is 20'8", I can fit my A20 in it with the swim platform off. I don't like to take it off. So instead, I put it in at about a 45. I built a chock to ensure my swim platform is as tight to the back 2 walls without touching. I don't have to swing in the tongue in this scenario. The closest point is front left pickle fork. I believe that I may be able to fit an A22, and am sure that the T22 would fit. So with another 1'8" I'd be sure I could fit the T22 in your scenario if you have a 2 car garage.

With platform removed, tongue folded and wedge down you'll need 23'11" for the 18 T22. With tower down it's 6'9" so getting under 7' Is a breeze.

I’m trying something different this winter for storage. I’ve had my T22 stored 2x at dealer (not by choice) and 1 year in neighbor’s garage. This year I decided to use stock cover, purchased an oversized 2nd layer and a HD tarp. Love having my boat covered in the backyard without worrying about who or what is banging into it. I can ride as late as I want (oct 10) without having to schedule winterizing or fit into someone else’s storing schedule. I don’t have to lower tower and once the ice is out I can conveniently unwrap it and take it to the lake. Most of the snow slides right off.[emoji106]
