What is up with the no-silicone based cleaners or protectors for the seats and uphostery (as read in the user manual)? What is good to use for both cleaning and protecting. Most protectors that I have seen (that include UV protection) are silicone based...any help/guidance will be appriciated.

I use Babes Seat Soap and then the Seat Saver. About 3-4 times a year I'll do a more thorogh cleaning with Totally Awesome (comparable to Malco but $1 a bottle at the dollar stores) then go over with Seat Saver for the UV protection that Totally Awesome does not have. I've got ink stains out with Totally Awesome on my vinyl.

The manual recommends 303 cleaner. 303 is really good stuff but it's also very slippery after it's applied so be careful with wet feet on the vinyl or you'll bust your butt quick. That's the only complaint I've ever experienced and have read about 303.

damp towels wipe down after each day, boat bling "vinyl sauce" to get off stains, spills or for a cleaning, followed by boat blinds "condition sauce".

Never used 303 as a conditioner, heard it works well, and heard that totally awesome is a great cleaner, plus the price of $1 IS totally awesome.

I always wipe the seats down with a damp towel and then dry at the boat ramp every time and then I use Babes Seat Soap and then the Seat Saver at least every other time I take the boat out.

Based on previous postings and raving over Hot Sauce, I bought the threesome...Hot Sauce, Vinyl Sauce and Condition Sauce...but after I read the manual and the Condition Sauce bottle, I saw that it was a silicone polymer base (hence the concern). I think I will give it a try at least on initial conditioning...just worried about voiding the warrenty and other things I have ready about Silicone based protectors.

Thoughts...

I love the way the formula 2000 turtle wax smells and the boat bling conditioner sauce is like liquid meth! Makes me want to keep on spraying and cleaning everything!

I like the boat bling trio too. I've been using them for a few months now.
