I have some experience on a 2015 Mojo and for the most part, my experience was/is the same as yours. The surf wake lacks the push found behind the axis surf wake. We have dialed in the wakeboarding wake on the mojo and it gets big and solid. It took my buddy a long time to dial in the surf though. The mojo does have clean lines and a good interior. He still loves to come ride and surf behind my Axis.

Ok, so I am a proud owner of a 2016 VLX Diamond hull. Put 12 hours on it this weekend and very impressed with wakeboard and surf wave, all day fun. We could plow through the middle of the lake during rush hour and surf all day. Very pleased! Thanks for all the replies!
