Is it dying? Wakeworld is almost dead. Where did everyone go? We still primarily wakeboard and only surf when lounging. What is the current trend?

Maybe age demographics, we all surf, even the teens. We are all mid 40s. We hardly ever see anyone wakeboard anymore.

Love to wakeboard when it's warm and water is glassy. But my bag of tricks is limited and I'm no longer really too stoked to try to get more (at 46, bailing hard HURTS). Whereas surfing there's still a lot to learn and it doesn't hurt to try.
We're probably 50/50 WB surf on a good water day.

We solely wakeboard early and late and surf if the water is crappy mid day or we've imbibed too much to functionally wakeboard, haha. My group is mostly all 20 somethings though.

I wakeboard almost 100%. The rest of my crew surfs. I don't think wakeboarding has already taken a back seat to surfing.
