have been dealing with this as time has been short....but I am looking to solve this issue and hoping some folks on here can provide some insight...

center tank simply will not drain...here is what I found

**fill works fine
**switch has power (lights up for a few seconds until it throws the breaker
**i do not hear any pump turning on when the switch is pressed down

I could not remember but pretty sure that previously when it functioned the center tank would drain into the front bag and then eventually out of the boat from that bag draining....does this sound right?

this is a 2013 A22

I was not sure if the center tank pump is a reversible one (as it powers up to fill), or if there is another pump somewhere. I see 3 in the floor; 1 for center fill, one for front fill, and one for front drain.

As far as I know with my 2012 a22 the pumps are not reversible. The drain pump sounds bad and it's kicking the breaker. I had that happen to my front bag/ middle tank as well. My drain went out and had to get a new pump.

Pull the pump it may just be clogged but at worst you will need a new one

My Buddy has a 13 A22 and there are a total of 8 aerator pumps. Each tank has a fill and drain pump, the arrow bag has it's own fill and drain pump, that's why we have 4 ballast toggle switches. If your hard tank is not draining then the pump is either clogged or bad. The pumps are easy to pop apart and inspect.

Pump is shot. It's attached directly to the back of the tank. go into the port hole next to the seat to access it. You'll see the back side of the tank and you'll see the pump.

If you really want to test it out, unplug the wiring harness and put a meter on it. You should get 12V with the switch on "drain".

So I was reaching around and flipping switches yesterday....when I hit "drain" on my front switch (not center) it turns on the pump that is at the rear bottom of the center hard tank.

Inside the port hole I see 3 pumps, and they all turn on when switched.

Rear lower center tank turns on with "front drain", the pump behind that turns on with "front fill" and the third turns on with "center fill".....not sure where the 4th pump would be? Sounds like that's the one that I need to hunt down and check out as it's not powering on when I attempt to drain the center bag....after that I can address the fact that apparently these have been switched incorrectly from the factory.

Had the same exact problem. I replaced the pump and problem soved

Ignore me...the 4th was hiding

Found and pulled the faulty pump...nothing stuck...lots of corrosion under the cap and seems to have gone bad after checking it with a multimeter.

Are you going to switch the plugs on the drain pumps so when you flip center drain it actually kicks on the center tank pump and front will drain your arrow bag?
