End of October and in the lower to mid 80's at the lake. Possible record temps. Hope everyone didn't winterize yet. See you out there. Looks like today and mid week are going to be awesome.

I'm flying into Reston tomorrow and then will be driving down the Shenandoah valley this weekend. Then leaving out of Richmond on Sunday.. Any tips for your area? I think we are taking HW 66 to 81 and then down to our B&B.

Bagar20- was that you in the black and green T22? If so, I saw you wake boarding on Saturday in some Halloween costumes. I'll be back this coming Saturday adding more break-in hours to my T23.

Admin- If you have the time, maybe take route 15/29 to Charlottesville, then hit 64 W to 81, depending on where in the Shenandoah valley you are heading. The ride will be much more scenic and there are plenty of places to stop along the way..

Anything near the gulf or Atlantic gulf stream is having summer weather. Our mosquitoes are ridiculous late but so worth the pain

DC Rager I know who the guys are with the black and green T22 but that wasn't me. I saw those nuts in their banana and gorilla suits on facebook.
I have a vapor blue and metallic black T22. We missed Saturday but Sunday was awesome. Third time having the new ride out.

Admin I know the 66 to 81 ride very well. I went to school in Lexington Va so drove that way many times. My best tip is get out of Dulles and down 66 by 2:00-2:30 if possible. Traffic will be really heavy for the first part of your ride if you don't get west on 66 by around 3:00-3:30.
Not sure how much time you have driving but Skyline Drive is amazing this time of year. Very popular when the leaves start changing. Not sure how much you know about it but it is a scenic route along the top of the mountains all the way down the Shenandoah valley. It will take you in the same direction as 81 south but will take quite a bit longer.

I have training Tuesday- Thursday. So I will be picking up a car from the airport Friday at 10am. We have the entire weekend for driving. The leaves are what we are there for.

It's been unseasonably warm in Arkansas, too. I winterized a couple weeks ago after a nice afternoon on the water due to deer season opening soon, but if the seasons don't change I may be putting the plugs back in.
