Just curious, has anyone ever considered converting their 2 piece engine cover/sun pad to a 3 piece? It seems like we are in the rear locker storage so often, that having that extra room for either people to pass by or gear to sit on would be very useful.
I already need to replace the vinyl so that wouldn't be an issue, but I'm not sure on what else it's going to take to do the conversion, or how difficult it would be.
Please chime in your opinion and if you have any experience or know someone who might. I'm not sure of the material required, for the base or hinges so any help will be great!
