Yesterday my head unit started to randomly change modes. It started to cycle through am, fm, aux, tuning. If I stop the boat and reset, it works fine but as soon as I give it gas, it starts switching. Any thoughts? I have two weeks left on my warranty.

I had a similar issue on mine turned out to be the transom remote.

Tommy's said it was the volume control wire not fully connected at the Y connector behind unit. I pick it up in AM and will test on the lake this weekend. Hoping that's all it was; seems that simple issue wouldn't cause the mode to randomly change.

Even after I got it back from Tommys, was working great until I connected the USB. So, it turns out that my USB, that connect to my iPhone, was messed up and was causing feedback that was triggering the mode changes. New wire, all good!
