Had a nice trip up to the Snake River in WA over the holiday weekend with my wife's family and sometime during the 650mi drive home, a rock missed my truck and shattered the drivers windshield.

I know it's pretty rare but anyone else have this occur?

wow.. never that bad.. Ive seen a number of them get replaced.

I asked my dealer for a quote on the black plastic side windshield support because I have a small chip on mine. The windshield and the bracket are one glued piece and nearly $500 per side. If you find a cheaper fix let us know.

I've heard of this happening enough that I never tow without the cover on.

You should call bakes and see if they have my old one there still.. replaced under warranty but the glass was perfect.
