So the Y valve from the factory and associated tube needs to be removed prior to the bag installed. It's just there if you don't have a bag installed so the water loops in and out.

There is no vent line installed for the rear bags. You have to manually burp them otherwise. If your dealer installed rear bags, they need to install the vent lines for them. Now having already done this, I've figured out that installing a vent off the top of the rear bags to go out a vent line on the same side as the bag is a bad idea, because once they're full, they'll create a siphon and auto-drain about halfway (or to water level).

The best way me and my dealer (and WakeMakers) think to do this is to run a vent line from the left bag up and around the back of the boat behind the rear compartment carpet, behind the engine area and out behind the right compartment area to the vent hole. This will get the hose higher than the water line (especially when surfing) and hopefully prevent the siphon or any other form of draining from the bag.

We haven't implemented this because the dealer needs to order more hose, but hopefully in the next week I'll have this done and report back. If your dealer installed the bags for you, they need to follow through with drilling the vent holes because they likely have tools to drill thru-hull fittings and since your boat is under warranty, you don't want them saying you did it wrong yourself and some damage not be covered.

Yes please let me know how this works. I have a bunch of fittings and hose but haven't gotten around to putting the vent I wanted on my rear bags.

I relocated the factory vent from the hard tank to the top of the sack. I can completely fill my 1100 and it does not siphon.

What did you do for the vent into your hard tanks?

Wouldn't it vent into the PNP sac?

I took my panel under my dash and traced the hoses...found my vent hose is in the lower right corner. My hoses are long enough that I should be able to move my fill line to the bottom left, cut my drain hose to fit in the lower right and use the piece that I cut off to move my vent line to the top of the bag. I ordered some spare hoses and such from wakemakers just in case I mess up somehow. I also bought some hardware to tap into my rear vent lines so my bags will be vented too...hope it all works out!

Just make sure you have 90 degree fittings to put on the top of the bag for the vent so you have more room. You need another 90 degree for the fill on the left side. The drain can be a straight fitting.

I plugged the 3/4 threaded port on the hard tank. The tank just vents into the PNP sack. If you did not have the PNP sacks then venting the hard tank would be necessary but when adding the sacks it allows you to move the vent as well.

I did the same thing and my 1100s do not siphon either.
