2 Interstate SRM-29 and an Interstate 24 starter. Prosport20 Plus charger.

Matt,
What switch are you running with 3 batteries? Is 1 just running the radio/amps and the other 2 on the switch for starter and back up?

Almost always run 1 battery for starting (position #1 on the switch) and 1 or more batteries for stereo/extra lighting (position #2 on the switch). In Matt's case he has 1 starting and a 2 battery stereo set-up. In my boat I have 1 starting and 3 stereo battery set-up.

I have the 29's run in parallel for the stereo hooked to #2 on switch. starter battery is hooked to #1. The + leads going to stereo fuse are wired to common.

I am running 2 batteries (the stock on pos1 and an Optima on pos2). Last year we ran sets all day with very little cove sitting/radio time without running the engine, but with gas this year, I think we may be doing a lot more chilling. Have you noticed that big of a drain on the batteries while playing the radio for 2-3 hours. I just recently installed a 2 bank charger/tender...do you think I need to look at a 3rd for the upcoming year?

It depends on what your stereo consists of. I'm at 2900watts RMS and I wouldn't want to take the chance with one stereo battery. Might get a couple hours. Amps will cut out and go into protect mode below a certain voltage level. The kickers I know cut out at below 10.5v.
You can use your same tender, but it will see the 3rd battery you add as one big battery (taking larger to charge) because the two are wired in parallel.
It's causes premature wear on the batteries having them drained down frequently like that, so I wanted to play it safe.

How many batteries you have now? How many banks is that charger? Also, how many watts RMS using what amps?

Purchased 2 CTek multi us 3300's. Once I get them installed I'll post pics.
