Hi. I have a 14 t22 with the 330 motor. Just wondering if anyone else has a problem with the belt on the engine squealing. I've had the belt replaced and the squeal goes away for a few days then comes back. Dealer told me first belt was wrecked because of excess water in the bilge. I know this is not the case as I have never had more than an inch or two of water in the bottom of the boat at the mid drain. I'm getting sick of being the newer boat at the launch and fire it up and it squeals for a few mins.

Have you tried any belt conditioner? I usually spray mine beginning and end of the season. Helps retain belt life and I've done it on previous boats and vehicles and never had any squeaks/squeals.

Other issue may be misalignment of the pulleys. That's the only thing I've seen cause them to squeal other than a really old or wet belt.

Hope this helps but I know it's like a shot in the dark.

Belt alignment is good. Brand new belt this year worked good for the first 5 hours of use then it squeals every morning when I fire it up. I'm pretty sure it's a moisture problem just trying to find out if anyone else has this problem.

My 2014 a22 has squealed before. But it was due to water in the bilge. Good luck and keep us posted.
