I put in some cut yourself tread traction pad. GatorStep would be better. If it was available at the time, I would have gone that route.

AJ suggested this a few weeks back to me as well.
It works. Not the best looking, but keeps from scratching and it's easily remove able, cleanable, and replaceable (all of my favorite criteria in any mod).
