Hi - looking for advice on surf setup. Bought a used 2011 A22 Vandal. Wave seems Frothy with not a lot of push. Currently fill front, mid and right rear (for goofy) and a 400-500 pound bag on the floor behind driver. Wave is surf able but not a lot of curl or push. Don't use wedge as it seems to make it worse. Guessing the bags are whatever came with vandal from factory. Not sure on weight. Was told 750/side including hard tank. Thoughts ?

No surf gates and speed is typically 10.8 - will try a DIY and see what happens - thx. Also, is the wedge supposed to lock in the down position?

No. Axis wedges are free floating and find "their optimum" spot.

You could probably stand a little more bow weight if possible also.

Get rid of your 1st generation platform and get the 2nd generation one for 2012-2013 Axis boats.

I have a 2011 a22 vandal. I fill all ballets as full as you can get. Poor mans gate on plate form. But this up graded to mission delta. Both work great. Lots of push. Clean no wash. Poor mans gate good with some extra weight in nose with people or bag on seat. Mission delta all people in cabin. Wife just my wife in the boat driving I have lots of push. Also run with wedge down. 11.6 on the speed. And I have the old platform. Not the newer one.
