I had a 2015 A22 I found two ways you can do it. One is put the cooler in so the lid opens toward the inside of the boat (opposite the way you would normally put it or remove the hinges and the retaining strap and so the lid lifts off like the seat cushion.

The factory cooler in my 2015 A22 is incredibly poorly designed. After removing the cushion above the cooler and the square corner cushion, the cooler lid opens 20 degrees before hitting the fiberglass in the back. I can't imagine a larger cooler in the same space.

The 48qt. Coleman fits in the 2016 T23 without sliding around. If you remove the hinges on the cooler it makes it much easier to access.

Thanks!

I like that the Coleman cooler has the sliding handles- they slide up & down. This would make it much easier to lift the cooler in & out of its space. The Igloo handles have to swing out and there isn't enough space to swing them out fully if you have other gear in the locker...
