I like my tower mirror, but I need to fold it for storage on my hoist, does anyone know of any company making removable/folding brackets that fit the axis tower? I found quite a few online but they all seem too short. I really don't want to go to a window mount.

Maybe find the thread pitch and diameter and get longer bolts with washers and hand turned knobs? Just a thought. I haven't seen anyone do any mods before but it should b pretty straight forward.

Those are both good ideas, and they both crossed my mind, but I was hoping to not spin the clamp on the tower( 40 hrs on boat and already wearing on tower powder coat from spinning ). If I can't find something with a clamp and pivot, I think I will cut and mill a pivot point in the stock arm over the winter. I just thought if there was something already out there I'd like to see it. Thanks for the ideas guys, this is the reason I like this board.

Put a rubber layer between the arm and the lower. It will cut down of the wear and tear.

A slice from an old busted water hose should work well. You won't see it anyways. A little dab of silicone gasket maker rtv should keep it held in place
