My prop says 15x14.25V L 1-1/8" 2249

Would there be any negatives to switching?

Your top speed will suffer...if you consider that a negative. What do you want out of your boat? How will you use it? Mostly boarding, surfing, skiing, tubing, partying??? What is your elevation where you boat?

Shoot back some answers and we can shop you dial it in.

Add more bow weight...and she will do much better.

I'm running a 2313. 2315 (2313 is much more money now) would be my suggestion to you. Top speed around 30-31 at my 2000' elevation. Pulls like a tractor and I get awesome fuel mileage. About 2 gph surfing fully loaded.

The boat will mostly be used for surfing primarily and then boarding and tubing. Defiantly going to be used for partying! My elevation is 1027 ft

Posted this in the other thread, but for others to see.

I've got the exact same setup (stock+WM 825s, plus Sumo 650 bow sac+150lb lead in walkway), I can get to surf speed, 11.2, fine but it struggled to get to wakeboard speeds. Talking greater than 30 seconds and that was without the wedge that time. I'm running the 2419 prop on mine. I'm thinking about changing to the 2773 however because that should put that RPM on takeoff right at the 4k range which is the highest torque range on the 350. I think it's a little too high right now and doesn't have the torque available to get it up to speed.

I'm going out tomorrow and going to try another 650 triangle on top of the bow seats and see how that helps with plane time/RPM. I'll also post pics of the WakeMakers 825 bags for everyone to see. I'm currently running 43-4000 RPM with this setup @ 22mph, no wedge.

Boostedsled, what are you RPMs at wake and surf speeds? I'm at 300ft and 31.6 on glass was my top speed with this 2419 prop.

I'm getting about 31-32mph top speed unloaded...pulling 5300+ RPM's. When I'm fully weighted down including an additional 650 bow sac on top of seats and 750 in aisle next to helm and drivers seat, wedge down...between 3800-4000rpm surfing. Anywhere from 10.8-11.4 mph. I also slightly list to surf side. The bow sac sits on starboard side and I'll move crew to starboard side for a sweet goofy wave.

We don't wakeboard with any weight as only my 10 year old boards and he is just learning. I fill center and front bag only when he boards to mellow out the wake a bit.

You will want to switch prop for sure then. I'd go with the 2315 or 2419 prop. Or the OJ 945 prop. That will help you surf your boat much better when you load it down with weight.

Definitely get some extra weight for your bow. Either lead for under the seats up front or another bag for when you're surfing. The extra bow bag will help you plane when boarding as well. You've got 1650lbs + hard tanks in rear and only 650 (fills to likely 400) in bow. You drop the wedge and that's roughly another 1000lbs of downforce in back.

Your likely way bow high when at surf speeds right? Try to balance the weight front to back and you will see a huge improvement.

Based on boostedsled's RPMs I wouldn't run the 2419 like I have, I'm really high in RPMs surfing (4500+). I'd go no higher than 2313. I'm putting the 2773 on next week and will report back on how that runs with various ballast configs.

Let us know how you like the WM 825's, they were not available when I got my 1100's and was wondering how they designed the bags specifically to fit the 2016 rear lockers.
