This weekend some how lost the pin that keeps platform stabilized and in place. the pin has two nipples that you have to twist to remove, anyway I am trying to find a replacement. Anyone have suggestions on where to buy pin?

Don't bother with another pin that you will eventually loose as well...... Use screws with a self locking nut and you will never again have to worry about loosing your whole platform (almost happened to me). The only reason I see to use a pin is if you have to fold down your platform on a regular basis. If that's not the case scews are the way to go!

Buy a 1/2" bolt from hardware store with locking nut. Not sure on the length. The one I bought was too long but it still works.

And losing of the pins when you're out on the water SUCKS. I bought an extra one and keep it on the boat just in case.

Here's a solid stainless bolt and lock nut for $13 out the door. www.BoltDepot.com. 316 stainless is a high quality steel that won't corrode for a long time.

(2) Hex bolts, Stainless steel 316, 1/2"-13 x 3"
(2) Hex lock nuts nylon insert, Stainless steel 316, 1/2"-13
(4) Flat washers, Stainless steel 316, 1/2"

Easy install. I was so tired of the pins backing out, the platform rattling, and having nightmares about the platform falling off with some of our less informed boat drivers.

I lost one this summer too. Replaced it with a SS bolt and nylock nut. Much better way to go.

Get the 2016 pins from your dealer. They lock in. I replaced my old ones with the new pin which has safety strap and can't popover out like the old ones.

I just put a clear zip tie on the end of mine (between the bracket and the little alignment pin) works and easily removed if I ever want to pull platform.

Lmfao....great minds think alike. That was my 2nd upgrade while out using the boat day 2. Never even think about them now. First upgrade was a new mirror.
