So I have had issues with my windshield from day one not closing properly and the dealer replaced it because it was damaged from being to tight. Yesterday I noticed while driving the boat the gap will change what I think is a lot (I assume the whole boat is flexing) is this normal on your boats? I have had a couple of issues that make me worry about something structural wrong in my boat and this just adds to that concern.

Thanks

I've never had a closing issue with mine so I've never paid much attention to the flex, I'll keep an eye on it next time out though

Mine does the same thing, this morning I didn't have any problems but after running around today it was really hard to close.

How much does yours move? Mine is upwards of a 1/4 inch :(

I had the same issue...center was so tight it wouldn't close unless you gave it a little pop. Dealer realigned windshield over the winter, which I believe involved removing both sides to adjust. In the process, tore the dash and it had to be replaced.

As for flex, I've noticed as well. As another poster said, there is probably a 1/4" gap and it flexes to that point. I wonder what kind of stress it placed on the windshield prior with zero room for flex?

Mine is less then a 1/4 inch, its always been a tight fit but sometimes you have to give it a little pop as others have said. You take your boat to Bakes as well?

I do take it to bakes.. I live down the road from them. Hopefully they can get me in this week to align it again.

I would have them do yours before it destroys the window frame. My first one got so bad the windshield overlapped by 1/8" when you tried to close it and ruined the frame...

I keep mine open most of the time but when you do shut it, the fitment is poor. About touching at the top and 1/4" or more at the bottom.

Pretty sure you can make an adjustment to the stanchion on the drivers side that will even that up.
