Feeling like I need to make the jump to a bow and walkway external setup for max surf wave/length. At 250lb I can go ropeless but my wave is pretty tall and I find myself needing to be up on the swim deck quite a bit. Currently I have 750's in the rear and horseshoe front sac

What bags do you guys recommend as additional for the bow and walkway in a 16 A22?

I was leaning toward the Ronix 3.0 just for the pump fill speed but would love to know your thoughts on bags. Ideally I won't loos all of my front seating?

The ronix bags are pretty cool, but the pump is massive thats what turned me off. Fly highs are cheaper and only take a couple extra minutes.

I use a flyhigh 400 sac for my T22 walkway. I only use it when i have a light crew, usually I'll have 2 people in the bow. I also run 900's though.

I know the A bow bags fill up much more than the T bags.. Maybe you need to just bump up the speed a bit? Someone else with an A can probably be a little more helpful for your setup.

I haven't seen the Ronix stuff but sumo has a new pump and bag that flows 4250gpm I think, straight fire hose like I imagine. I've considered getting that and a triangle sack for on top of the seats.

I just purchased exactly that. I got a brand new triangle 650 for on top of the bow seats. I also found a screaming deal on the new 4250 Sumo pump. Paid $99 for it. No, they don't have anymore.

I have the ronix... I can turn on the stock pumps and before they fill have my extra bow bag and floor bags both filled and pump put away before the factory ones finish..

Now that's a serious set up right there r33. My thought was the triangle bag in bow and a 400 in the pass through walkway. How much of a difference are those two bags making for you? Is it truly a "night and day" type of thing. What would you say that kind of weight does to the length and height of the wave? Any chance next time you are out you could shoot a video/pic with just stock and pnp full then Again with your external sacs? I am sure it would help many of us newer guys understand what that kind of weight does to these boats. I know I would sure appreciate it.

That bow sac is the 650? It looks so tiny. Lol. I honestly thought it would be bigger full. I'm thinking about just taking my 650bow sac out from under the seats and filling it manually with a pump over the side and using the area below the seats to put a few hundred lbs of lead and storage for other stuff.

Honestly with this setup the wake was big and long but I did not like it.. I'm a big guy and like a lot of push. I normally ride with a big crew so I can easily move people around to make the wake the way I want it. I am going to buy some lead (600 lbs) to put mid boat (300 on each side) and see how it does. With only the extra bow bag it surfs really well but again I lose some push.. honestly I rarely go our with less then 7-8 people so I simply don't need the bags that often.

I will see if I can get a video of It but my next two weekends I am camping with big groups so the boat will likely be full and extra ballast not needed. If I was to do it all over I would have spent the money on lead so I could move it around easier..
