I use a slingshot vest it's comfortable to but doesn't float as well as I'd like and I'm 155#

I wear the Ronix Party Impact. I love this vest non CGA but that's all I ever wear. My wife did have a comp by LF that was approved but hated it.

My go to is my liquid force cardigan comp. it definitely does not float the best but is extremely comfortable. I tried to replace it with a liquid force Watson comp which is a bit thicker and floats better but some of the float pieces flip and get all bunched up inside the neoprene. Tried to replace that with a hyperlite Webb jacket and the side zipper on that model was really uncomfortable. Replaced that with a jet pilot Shane comp and by far the most comfortable jacket however on bad crashes it really Rides up and the insides started twisting on the back panel so it sucks to sit in when on the boat. Back to the cardigan comp it is.

Does anyone have an opinion on the ncga vest that will float you the best?

Ronix Capella

I love just floating in the water with it when my kids are swimming around and the boat is parked. I also like how the sides have a rounded panel and the seems are not on the sides of the vest. I have an O'neil Slasher comp vest as well. I had a slow speed wake surf crash and the vest ended bunched up around my upper chest/neck and armpit area. This was slow speed, couldn't imagine what would've happened on a wakeboard crash. I still use it, but not near as often. Usually only when the air temp is sky high.

Just bought this one as I wanted something lighter for surfing. I keep extra USCGA vests on the boat. I have found that I need to order 1 size up on most O'Neill products. http://www.bartswatersports.com/catalog ... gQodeKEIKg
