So far this season my bilge isn't kicking on by itself. We took on some water after my wife turned into our wake. I had to flip the bilge on manually to start pumping out the water. Anyone have any ideas?

It takes a good amount of water to get the float to lift up to turn on the bilge. I am guessing you weren't at that water level in the bilge yet.
