She's no pro but she is jumping and catching air while doing it. I have tried wedge up, wedge down, ballast full, ballast empty, ballast half full, ballast draining, you name it. Still washed out on that side unless I go faster.

Sounds like the consensus is to fill the middle and put weight in the not clean side until it crisps up. I'll try that next time out and report back. Thanks all!

Is your speedo GPS corrected to ensure its accurate? I just cannot imagine an empty ballast Axis having to go 22-23mph to get a clean wake. I have an A24 and can easily get crisp, clean wake at 18mph with or without wedge and even with all hard tanks, bow sack, and a couple hundred pounds of ballast in the rear sacks...still clean at 18-18.5mph. That's one of the reason I love Axis as far as wakeboarding, so easy to setup and clean wakes at low speeds.

We run or T23 with front and center hard tanks and pnp bow bag full, wedge down, nothing in the rears and get a clean wake at 18 mph. Like others have said, if it still washes out on one side, moving people and ballast to one side should do the trick.

I have an a20 but wakeboard wake is better with more weight in the front and less in the rears. When we're not surfing I drain the rear 800s and only leave the hard tanks full.

So what's your wakeboard weight setup?

I've only got ~10 hours on the boat and still am trying to get things dialed. So far it looks like front and center ballast full (that's the stock center under the floor plus a bag in the front under the seats that the dealer put in), both rear hard tanks full (I don't know how much they hold), but the 800lb bags in the lockers are empty, plus I drop the wedge. My brother likes the same but with the wedge up instead. 21MPH

Maybe it was over cautious instruction, but my dealer told me not to run ballast or wedge until after the first service. Should you be running that much ballast/wedge during break in?

Women don't want ballast or wedge so this is the easy fix

Unless your girl does actual tricks/jumps hs, ts, and switch in both variants.

Well, all it took was some more weight on that side to clean it up. In fact, just moving someone from the right side to the left cleans it up most of the time.
