I had the same issue with a very stiff throttle. We were not able to easily shift in or out of gear. What I found was the issue was not with the shifter itself the problem was at the transmission linkages. The boat had been in storage for 3 months so the linkage had corrosion built up on it so it was binding. All it took was some PB buster to break down the corrosion and then some grease around the linkage to prevent corrosion in the future

I just bought a 2015 A22 with the Livorsi shifter with 185 hours. It is very hard to get in gear. My old 2010 was easy. Can u tell me what PB buster is and send me a photo of where to apply it? I know that's asking a lot but I would appreciate it very much.

Huh? Do you have your cruise set very low? Or do you not have an observer and are dropping riders half a mile before noticing?

Generally speaking riders should always be picked up at idle speed. In the rare instance where you need to get to a rider more quickly (boat bearing down on them?) it's not like you are going to get the boat to 30 mph or something between your turn and the downed rider... unless you are powerturning every time?
