I have a 2012 A20 with 750 fat sacs for pnp. I have no problem with filling time. But, I wouldn't mind improving the amount of time that it takes to drain the bag into the tank while emptying the system.
I was considering moving to more of the hi-flo set up for the drain from the bag to the tank. Can I change out fitting on the hard tank to increase the flow into the tank? I know I can do so with the bag connection and obviously the tubing, but don't know about the tank.
Thanks.

all you need to do is check the fitting on the tank to see if it can be swapped out. Just pull the floor panel up. If it can be replaced, source the hi-flo fitting.

Yeah I wasn't sure those could be swapped out and I haven't been able to find them online anywhere. Dealer item?

A lot of the OEM ballast parts are by Attwood, could try them.

Seems like I misunderstood the new Hi-flo system. I thought it used 1 1/8 fittings and hose. Seems like I would be looking to upgrade to 1". I just need to figure out if the item linked above by admin will thread into the tank as is. I think mine can be removed. Seems like they would twist out, but there is good line of silicone sealing it.
Thanks for the info to you both.

I think the hi-flo does is 1 1/8" hose. Maybe the 1" adapters are the inner hose diameter?
I'm not 100% sure about that but looking to do the same thing and I have been finding 3/4" and 1 1/8" ballast hose

The inner diameter of my hose is 3/4". Wakemakers sells hose at all three inner diameters, 3/4", 1" and 1.125". Swapping out the hose will not be as impactful as I'd hope if the hard tank fitting constricts down to 3/4". And I'm not sure I'm willing to start wrenching on that fitting to find out.
Vanamp, if you do, please update the thread and let me know.

One thing I did find out is that the only difference between the shurflow 800 and the shurflow 1100 pumps is that the outlet on the 1100 is 1 1/8 ". The pump internals are identical and both have a 3/4" inlet. So you would not need to change anything on the tank to improve drain times. Just swap out the pump body, get 1 1/8" hose and thru hull.

Spoke with Malibu. They told me I cannot replace the hard tank fittings on my 12. I wanted to talk with a rep before I pulled the fitting off.
