Hey guys,

I searched and didn't come up with what I'm needing. I'm looking to add vent lines to my rear PNP bags so that I don't have to burp them every time I fill to get all the air out.

What connectors/length hose/etc do I need to do this? I don't have a shop local so will need to order everything online.

Thanks,
Matt

Hey Matt, do another search. The info is out there. I am certain I have posted pictures of my vent line install.

Found it....way back in 2014! Thanks for the heads up, just searched your posts. You list about 7' of hose...is that per side or total?

Total. Cut it in half and use the 3.5 ft prices for each side.

Thought about that, only problem then is I lose 400lbs of ballast. That's no good.

Cool thanks. Looks like about $30 in parts from wakemakers. Not bad at all. Totally worth it if it means I don't have to burp the bags while filling. Can't believe Axis skimped on this stuff. Anyone know if the Malibu's are the same way? Why give us a vent for the front bag but not the rears.

Interesting. You've got deeper pockets than me. Any idea on what kind of total weight per bag you're shooting for? What do you want the extra rear ballast for? Would you add more weight up front as well?

Reason I ask is that I already feel like 900's in the back with the wedge is too much weight for what my bow bag can fill to offset it. So I ran another bag on top of the seats up front last year and have got lead now to stash in the bow. Just not sure what another 500-1000lbs of fear ballast would do or benefit. Interested to see your outcome.

Another question on ballast bags while I've got some attention....anyone know if I can move the LiNK fitting on a sumo bag to a different port?
