twowakes he is still doing warranty work for axis, i just picked my boat up last friday from dusty he did my tsb and replaced 2 things under warranty through malibu. and there are a few 2016 boats on the showroom floor their covered up now with no build sheets attatched but they were shipped there as when i dropped my boat off the towers were still wrapped up and folded down etc. I didnt even ask about him being a dealer still or not as I honestly dont care but he did my warranty work and tsb no questions asked and billed it to Malibu. But hopefully he sends the op his missing parts etc. And I did not buy my boat from dusty or patty but he still has done multiple warranty repairs over the last year for me.
It looks like maybe I wasn't misinformed as twowakes suggest, if Malibu says they are in business and there are new 2016's on the floor, chances are they re still in business, however I know a sure way to GO OUT OF BUSINESS ! tell everyone your out of business.
And to the other comments:
I didn't leave the dealer without a title , I did leave without the Bill of Sale because I was in a hurry and was told it would be emailed, and since I am a trusting person and man of my word I thought this would be an easy task for a dealer to perform ( and as stated I did eventually get the bill of sale).
I did not purchase the boats " AS-IS" , I bought new boats with a full warranty.
I will and can afford a few hundred bucks to have the items installed, that wasn't the issue.
And personally I could care less whether they are out of business or stay in business. However that does not change my experience or opinion regarding customer service or selling practices. The way I see it your either out of Axis Boat Sales business or in Axis Boat Sales business, kind of like being pregnant , you are or your not,not many choices between.
In closing I love my boat, just need to get a few issues resolved and go boating.......
