You may be correct dezul... I know I had the 2315 on my LSV and it really took away from the top end. It would make me very nervous with the new tractor gearing. I simply made the statement without comparison (and science) for further consideration by the community.

Has anyone tried the OJ 945 prop? 15×13.....Eric's response to a email I sent him about props for the new gearing. I am currently running the 2249 [emoji53]

Call him up and talk to him tomorrow. I have the 945 on my boat. It feels like the 2315 to me. I liked it enough I bought it and the 2315 is my backup. I know Eric has been working with Malibu on testing of his props since he is across the street from their plant. You should definitely call him, screw the email crap.

He recommended the OJ945 for mine. Here is my install. New Gearing

What kind of RPM'S are you running now? Yesterday I was running stock 800, custom 500s in the rear and the T-series triangle bag under the bow cushions, no wedge with about 900 lbs of body weight and she was struggling to get on plane. When I was pulling a rider I had a couple guys go up into the bow and it helped a bit. I was running about 3900 rpm at 22.8 mph. I have a 2016 A20. That 945 would probably bump me up a couple hundred RPM's right?

I haven't got to use mine yet but will soon.

Let me know how your new prop testing goes when you get to use it. Very interested in how it is compared to stock. I will be running the same ballast and motor as you in me T23.

Did you notice your RPM'S drop back down a bit going to the 13 pitch vs 12?

This thread is of interest to me. Following as I have the 2249 factory and haven't found anything it won't do for me but I want to get a spare prop and wouldn't mind lowering rpm's if it doesn't have a negative affect.
