My buddy had a 2015 A22 and he fit it under his 7' door. The trick is that you have to fold the tower legs out instead of into the boat. The main tower rests on those legs when folded in, if you fold them out the tower drops down another inch or 2 . Hope this makes since.

@SteveA20 this makes a ton of sense. Thank you for the advice and when I get it home this week I'll certainly report on the success, or lack of. Thanks guys for the help.

The trailer has to have the 14" rims also. The 18" Rockstars won't work.

It does have the 14in rims. There is a ton of sidewall on the 14"s tire so hopefully between your tip, some air out of the tires and dropping the adjustable trailer hitch to lower the tongue height I can slide it in there. Fingers crossed.

I have a '15 A22, 18 inch rockstar wheels. I keep mine in my standard 7ft garage. It fits with the tower down (brackets folded in, not out as someone mentioned earlier in this thread) just fine. Is it a tight fit ? Yes. But I have a single car garage, the bigger problem for me is trying to fit the boat in the narrow opening. I literally have a couple inches on either side. But as far as height it makes it barely. I measured the boat at the dealership before I bought one, the boat is about 6'10 (with tower as low as it will go with brackets folded inward/down- tower might even go farther down if folded out as someone else had mentioned) even though the website says the boat is taller than 6'10. Fitting in my garage was the main selling point for me, that is why I went with the Axis over the Malibu. It will fit, trust me, I bought my boat based on this.

@BornFree here is to hoping you are right. Now it makes me wonder if the 18's may have a lower profile? At 6'10" I'd make it by a hair under my header. I was looking this AM and the builder made a little decorative trim piece out of 2 x 1/2in stock that could be easily removed and repainted. That would buy me another 1/2" I guess it's all going to be speculation until I get the thing over here. Know I appreciate the insight guys. The fiancé thinks I am nuts for the time I have spent here learning all of the in's-n-out's of this new rig! Cheers

I have 15 a22 and it fits in a 7ft garage (my garage is exactly 7ft). It is very tight, I have about 1/2 inch of clearance.

I'm about to run into a very similar issue with the A20 I ordered. For whatever reason my garage door height is 6'8". I don't know why a builder would make a door height that low but they did. I am really hoping it fits. If not I will likely have the door opening raised up. However, the quote I got for that was ~$6500 due to the brick front on my house. I am going to get a couple more quotes cause that price is way more than I want to spend.

@gtoddh
you can try a drop hitch or cranking the jack all the way down and pushing the boat into the garage. this should give you a couple more inches of clearance.

The tallest point of the boat when the tower is down is the nav light/rope loop. It is held on with 1 bolt I believe. My garage height is 6'10.5" and I have a couple inches of clearance with out taking the nav light off. I have a 2016 A20 on normal trailer with 14" rims.
