I saw the new Malibu M235 at the boat show. That is boat is huge! I thought the 25LSV that we rode in a few months ago was big but the M235 looks gigantic. I cannot wait to take one out on the water.

$223,000 sticker price. No options, it just comes loaded all the way to include 575hp.

I just saw the 235 at Tommy's in Florida. Wow! It's a monster. I think we'll need to show financial statements to get a test ride. It's like the Lamborghini of wake boats. Buyer's paying $200K+ won't want hours on it. I heard that the blue one they have in Denver is really nice.

You'll also need a new truck. It's 7,500lbs+ dry.

Malibu has its demo here too for the boat show in Orlando.

I mean seriously guys; what the target consumer for this boat? Must be those LBJ richies with escalators from their boat house?

I think the real target is G owners that want a more expensive boat.. :)

I bet test rides will be few and you bet you will be fully vetted before they gas that boat up and take you to the water. haha

I was afraid to even get in it at the boat show.

I bet you will see business buying them for promo boats. I know a local energy drink company here that has a G25. Wish I could some how justify that owning a boat helps my business lol

What I have noticed about the Austin show.

Attendance looked down this year.
RV participation was down this year compared the previous year when our BOAT show was renamed to the Boat and RV show.
Wakeboard shop attendance was way down.
No excitement over wake product(not sure anyone brought any 216 gear).
Did not see a number of my regular Austin wake crowd. My old school wake crowd that has been part of the scene since the beginning.
I was not around everyday of the show so I could have missed some stuff and people.

Wish more of the OEMS would get involved like ronix, inland surfer ect. Hard as a consumer to be able to see all of their gear in one spot and ask questions.
