Looking for a new prop for the T23. I'm currently running the 1235 and looking at 2315 for next year any thoughts.

2016 T23
350 motor
Full ballast with 1100's in the rear and full bow sac. Two extra 400's in the floor.
At 450' above sea level

That is the Prop I am still seeing sold the most at Boardstop. I have heard that they are testing some new prop numbers on the 2016 boats. Not sure if that is just on the Malibu side.

I was curious about this prop. I noticed that they had it mid-year in 2015. I know it will give it more top end with that pitch but, I wonder how the torque is since you still have the massive surface area with it being 15". Let us know how it planes fully loaded (3,600+lbs of ballast) with the wedge down.

I had the 2315 on my 2015 T23 with the standard 350 motor. It would plane with 800lb p-n-p rear sacs, p-n-p bow sac (under seats) and an 800lb Ronix sac in the nose (on the seats) plus all the factory ballast full. I also had the wedge down in the second bigger wake setting. It would plane with just one person driving and all that weight but, if I added people I would have to drain a little bit out of the rear. Wake was still huge. I loved it. That prop is worth the money and you'll be surprised how fuel efficient the motor is.

Only down side is that the boats top speed in mirror water with no weight was about 33mph. for me that's not an issue though.

Hope this helps.

Good choice. I run it as my backup. My current prop is the OJ945. From my experience (repairing 6 - 7 props) OJ makes a little more durable prop. We run my boat on the river a lot which tends to have a lot of sticks and logs. The OJ has chopped more wood without damage. It also feels a tax bit smoother as far as vibration in the wheel. Also, I am a little partial to OJ cause they are local to me.

I tend to agree with Dezul on that OJ's are a little more beefy props. If you ride/boat on a river prone to debris, I'd look at OJ's. If your lake is clean and no real hidden obstacles, I'd go Acme.
