I used Ski Safe. To be fair, did not quote Progressive. I did jack up my liability coverage and have a $500 deductable. Only people with money get sued and if you have to use liability coverage in the event of an accident, base values won't come close to covering. Top tier coverage is about $500 per year on a 2015 A20

I'm with Ski Safe as well for my A24. I increased my coverages as you mentioned and I'm a couple dollars below $500.

USAA will not insure boats unfortunately. I have progressive; however, they did not take care of me when my Bu got t-boned.

Everyone needs to thoroughly understand how boat insurance works on repairs... NOTHING like automobile insurance. It's all in the fine print folks; BEWARE. 16k damage on the Bu and the repair was complete garbage... ends up that once the insurance company writes YOU the check, they are out... any remaining problems are between you and the repair shop... they absolutely WILL NOT get involved.

If you were towing, doesn't that default under your car insurance?

It was an uninsured jet ski rider that t-boned Alexandera's boat as it was anchored in a beach area cove. Look at his signature. I saw his LSV after the repairs. They just couldn't get the flake and gel coat right

USAA has partnered with Progressive to supply boat insurance, you will get a discount being a USAA member.

That being said SkiSafe was over $100 less per year for a 2015 A22.

Exactly. I'm a usaa member but I've been with SkiSafe for about 6 years now

Anyone ever had a claim with skisafe? They quoted me 1/2 of what state Farm is but I don't want to get second tier insurance to save 300 bucks a year.

I just actually had a claim with them recently. Somehow got water in the engine and they took care of me. Process was really easy and they were quick to respond. After going through that I wouldn't change insurance companies for the value they bring. Hope this helps.

I have always used boaters insurance for my promo boats. It is about $500 a year and have not had any problems. Of course I have never filed a claim so I really have never had to see what the process would have been like if I needed to use the policy.

I tried to get a few insurance companies to offer up a group policy but never seemed to find the right agent that would follow thru.

If someone wants to take the lead on that we should try and get an insurance company to offer the axis site some type of package insurance deal for the site.

any takers?

I would be interested in a group deal as I am actually in the market right now. That said with a million things in the air right now can't really champion the cause and put in the time it would require.
