In regards to built in battery chargers, this is a must in my book. Maybe everyone near me is an idiot, but I can't count the number of dead batteries I've seen at the boat launch, or guys that had to cancel a trip because something got left on and the battery is dead. Every time my boat comes home I plug it into the wall so I know that it is good to go any time (I also top off the tanks before I put it away as well). On that same note, as was mentioned in an earlier post, if you're going to leave your batteries outside for the winter you might as well throw them away.
Just my two cents.
Funny comment about the batteries and I'm not arguing but my batteries in my RV (left outside 365 days a year) last 4 plus years normally. They are nothing special just a decent car battery but they never need the cold cranking amps so maybe that changes thing?
