I'm 36 two kids (5 & 8) own a house and boat. I'm lucky as my wife makes decent money (65k) and my kids are in preschool and state school.. so not to expensive.

My wife makes less than half that but she is in grad school. I am the money maker....she is the baby maker. She wants to have kids while she works full time and goes to grad school.

I'm 32 with wife and baby. I've managed a new boat each year for the last 5 years. We love the water and she makes decent money. I defiantly make more but that money really helps with my buying habits. Here are my past boats.
2011 Mastercraft X2
2011 Axis A22
2013 Axis A22
2014 Tige Z1
2016 Axis T23
Tow Vehicles
2014 Ford F 250
2012 Chevy Tahoe

Our child is only 8 months old so she is still basically free. A few diapers and cheerios. My wife left her 85k job as an RN and is almost done with her masters to become a nurse practitioner. I am self employed and dabble in a few businesses within the chiropractic profession.

Sounds like my wife. She will go back for her Masters once the kids are a little older.

AJ I really have looked at these. There is a place off 183 near Liberty Hill that had a few bobbed versions of the 6x6 trucks. I thought it would make a good 'business' expense for pulling the boat to events.

They are great for business exposure & towing but have a terrible turning radius compared to a regular pickup. The fuel economy is actually not too bad at ~9mpg. In 6x6 configuration, it weights about 23k lbs but the bobbed trucks shave off a good bit (each wheel/tire is about 450lbs).
