Hi All,

Peter the new guy here. Been lurking for a few months and just bought a new 2015 A22 last week. My wife grew up around boats her entire upbringing but this is my first boat. Random crap about me:

33 yrs old
Married w/8 month old daughter
Live in a suburb of Salt Lake City
My handle, Skibum, is for snow skiing, not water.
I enjoy cars, beer, building stuff, and hopefully boating.

2015 A22
High altitude prop
Heater
Stereo pack 1 (I'll work on that)
Spinner racks
Gorilla fin
Plug n Play
Surfgate
Wedge
Random lighting options
Trailer with some gangster 14" wheels
& other little things

Image

My tow vehicle is a 2014 Tundra for now. I also own a 5-ton military truck which I'm selling.

What I'm doing every weekend until boating season

Is that truck bobbed? What does a military truck run these days?

It's still 6x6. Worth about $8-10k.

That military truck should make one hell of a tow vehicle.
Welcome to the forum.

Thx.

ThatGuy - We are Oregon Duck fans so you won't be hearing Go Bucks in this household (unless you are talking about the candies). I have some good friends in Pickerington & Westerville.

I think those trucks are cool. I would turn that into my tow rig. How many wakesurfers, ballast bags and props would that take in trade? :)

It's on eBay as we speak so I won't be trading it for gear :) Top speed is about 55mph which would be miserable on the highways around here where the speed limit is 70. The good news is that the bed is 7x14' and has seating for 20.

Everyone will give you plenty of room at the 360 ramp Ed.

I am curious. I am 32yr old and love my boat. I got married back in May and the wife and I love the lake. I have a great job with good benefits, the wife, not so much. We are looking to have a kid but eventually looking to upgrade houses...How did you manage a wife and kid and still able to get a boat?
