I am overdue for some new bindings before next season so has anyone ridden both brands and have any complaints to either brand? From what I have read and seen in person they are both nice bindings, also will they both work on a hyperlite board as i know slingshot uses a different mounting system on their boards?

I have experience with most of the slingshot lineup. Let me know if you have any specific questions about them.

Slingshot bindings are too wide for my feet. I've tried several models and can't wear them.

Humanoids are on point and after a full season on cable and boat, zero heel lift and zero issues with materials.

They are made for a normal foot. Jk. My foot fits the slingshots perfectly but I have a normal foot with no arch. I am also 5'9 and 230lbs. My foot would get circulation cut off of it with the '13 rads and '14 rads. I switched to the Shredtowns and it resolved the issue. I will probably stick with the Velcro straps till they quit making them. They are easy to put on, fit my foot perfect, and comfortable with medium ankle support. Plus they are easy to adjust while on the move and easy to get out of.

If I go slingshot I have been looking at the ktvs and then on the humanoids I cant decide if I should go odyssey or howl's i like the howls strap setup to get out of quicker etc. but not sure how high up the ankle they go for support as I know its a shorter boot, I dont have much arch and I like my shoes wide as I have worn etnies for 18+ years from riding bmx. I tried on some hyperlite murray leftovers from a local shop and they were so narrow and tight around my toes I couldn't get them off fast enough but from arch to ankle they felt ok.

If you have wide feet you might be better off in slingshots.

I rode the howls behind the boat and found they had enough support for me. But right now I'm using Odyssey boots.

My probably was the heel and ankle area. My ankle was swimming in them.

The KTV is the stiffest of the slingshot line. If you happen to wear a size 10, I would buy them off of you if you don't like them.
